Midpoint = ((2 + 8)/2, (3 + 11)/2) = (5, 7). Choice C (10, 14) is the sum of the coordinates without dividing by 2 — the midpoint averages, it does not add.

Why the other answers are wrong

B. (6, 8)
(6, 8) is the difference between the coordinates (8 − 2 and 11 − 3), which gives the run and rise, not the midpoint. Average instead: ((2+8)/2, (3+11)/2) = (5, 7).
C. (10, 14)
(10, 14) is the sum of the coordinates with no division by 2 — the midpoint averages the coordinates, it does not add them.
